It was such a pleasure to join Güneş and Esra for their intimate wedding at The Rocks! These two are from Turkey and their family flew into New Zealand in the early hours of the morning to join them for their celebration. They did things a little differently, with ‘bubbles and bites’ together with their 10 guests prior to getting ready, and photos before the ceremony, with Esra doing her own hair and makeup. In true Turkish fashion, I got treated with the most generous hospitality, I was plied with Turkish treats from the get-go and got sent home with a goody bag of Baklava, and Turkish delight all the way from Turkey.
