Recently, we organized a workshop for 14 photographers at the Tree Church in Ohaupo. It was a big project, almost like planning a wedding and gave me a fresh appreciation of what my couples have to go through prior to their big days!
The Tree Church in Ohaupo served as the perfect venue to host this workshop. I have photographed many Weddings at The Tree Church, and every season offers something completely different, however, I think winter time might just be my favorite!
During the workshop we discussed posing, lighting strategies, and composition tips and our attendees were engaged, asking thoughtful questions. I’m grateful for the opportunity to teach and work with such talented individuals. It was a privilege to be a part of their learning process and witness their growth as photographers.
As a Hamilton and Waikato wedding photographer, I believe that teamwork plays a crucial role in achieving success. This workshop was a perfect example of that. With the collective efforts of the vendors, we were able to create a beautiful styled shoot, for our photographers who attended to use for their portfolios.

I photographed their Wedding at Ataahua Garden Venue back in November 2022 so I knew they would be just perfect for this workshop!!
