New Zealand went into Level 2 lockdown the week prior to Baiba and Peter’s wedding. But despite some guests no longer able to attend, it still remained all go. However, when the Civil Defence evacuated their gorgeous beachfront venue, Flat White Cafe the morning of the wedding due to a tsunami threat, I just wasn’t sure if this day was going to happen.
Thankfully not a pandemic, nor a tsunami would get in the way of Peter & Baiba saying “I do”. The message that the tsunami threat had been cancelled came through just a minute before Baiba walked down the aisle 🥰
