Last year Dave and I had the pleasure of being Caitlin and Sam’s neighbours and they are two of the kindest and most thoughtful people I’ve met! They went to school and now live at St Peters School in Cambridge where their ceremony was held under the most gorgeous grove of Kahikatea trees. Years ago Sam’s Dad Mike invested his time, protecting and restoring this grove and it was so special to see this couple reap the benefits of his efforts years ago. Caitlin and Sam first met at Cambridge Primary School as 5 and 6 year olds, but it wasn’t until one summer holiday when they were both uni students playing in the same social basketball team that things sparked. One thing that stood out to me was all the things they have in common from being foodies to their love of sport. They are both from such supportive families with some very cool and quirky traditions – some of which we intend to bring into our own family! I had trouble narrowing down which images to share, as there was so many precious moments present on this magical day! Enjoy.
