Zoe & Ben’s epic surprise wedding was held in Raglan. After greeting loved ones who had just arrived to celebrate their engagement party, they moved things up a gear announcing that in 15 minutes they’d be getting married on the beach! You can imagine the excitement as they dashed off to get changed while their guests quickly made their way across the bridge to the spot they had chosen for their ceremony.
A quick first look gave the loved-up couple a moment to themselves and a chance to catch their breath and soak in the anticipation, before heading down to the beach to get married in front of gathered family and friends. A wedding celebrant herself, Zoe chose a good friend to perform the honours, the amazing sunset light at Raglan Beach was the backdrop. With Covid preventing travel there were a few guests that couldn’t be there, but none more special than her Mum who had passed ten years earlier. In remembrance of her Mum, Zoe wore her Wedding dress which looked like it was made for her!
After a whirlwind couple shoot under a crazy super moon capturing the last rays of daylight, (there’s a reason Raglan weddings are some of my favourites!) they partied the night away at Wyld Raglan. As I made my exit it was still going strong, ramping up even, Zoe, Ben and their families were pouring tequila shots as I walked out the door!
