Before your WEDDING

Before the camera clicks, our journey begins with understanding your story. We’ll catch up to discuss your vision, style, and the unique elements of your relationship. 

This pre-shoot consultation ensures that your wedding photos reflect who you are as a couple. We’ll cover locations, themes, and any special moments you want to capture, laying the groundwork for a photo shoot that’s as unique as your love story.

All my packages include a pre-photoshoot consultation and planning session. For your wedding photography, this can also include scouting locations for a creative photoshoot or visiting the ceremony and reception venue.

Feeling nervous about having your photo taken is quite normal! So, to help you relax and enjoy your wedding, I’ll share with you my wedding guide with all the tips and tricks I have up my sleeve from 15+ years of photographing weddings.

On the day

On your special day, my role is to seamlessly blend into your celebration, capturing those candid, spontaneous moments alongside the planned ones.

With a keen eye for detail and emotion, I’ll be there to catch every laugh, tear, and loving glance. I balance taking control to get the perfect shot with stepping back to let the natural beauty of your day unfold, ensuring that your photographs are a true reflection of your joy and love.

Don’t worry about dated photographs that look on-trend this year but won’t last – with over 15 years of experience, I’ll make sure you’ve got timelessly stylish photographs that you’ll be proud to share with the grandkids in 40 years’ time!

After The WEDDING DAY

After the festivities are over, the magic of creating your visual legacy begins.

I select and professionally edit each photo to bring out its best qualities. You’ll receive a beautifully curated collection of images that tell the story of your wedding day. Each photograph is a memory captured and an artwork to be cherished. 

All high- and web-resolution files are delivered via an online gallery, where anyone can view and download your images (don’t worry—you can hide any you want to keep to yourselves!). This is perfect for easy sharing with family and friends. Your images will be kept online for two years.

Every package comes with a print credit to spend on your images. You can order your favourite images, ensuring your memories are preserved in the most beautiful way possible.

I’ve captured couples celebrating their engagements and weddings for over 15 years. 

When people hear I’m a photographer, they love to talk about their own experiences. One of the most common things I hear from couples is their big regrets about their wedding photos. It always surprises and saddens me.

Hundreds of weddings later, I’ve seen all sorts of unexpected situations that have made me more adaptable when things don’t go as planned (think famously unpredictable Kiwi weather and traffic jams delaying cars, amongst others!).

This book not only showcases your favourite images from your engagement shoot but also doubles as a guest book for your wedding day. The layout is designed to combine your images with ample white space on each page for your guests to write their messages and sign.

Your album will come with the first the first 30 sides (15 pages). This also includes the design and three complimentary review sessions so that you are 100 % happy with the final product!

A beautiful box of matted photographs is a versatile way to display your images.

You can frame them as you’d like, put them on little easels or displays around your home, or leave them in the box as a keepsake and pull them out to share like you would with an album. Your beautiful prints will be presented in a handmade box designed to keep your images safe for years to come.

Not sure which package to choose? (and other questions you might have)

If you want to book me for your wedding but are not sure how much time you’ll need, we can secure your date and figure out the details later. Once we’ve nailed down what photographs you want (your run sheet), it’ll become clearer how much time you’ll need. You can always add more time or a second photographer later as well. 

This really depends on the number of guests, the events of the day, and a variety of other factors. I generally deliver around 100 photographs an hour. For 9 hours of photography, and with one photographer, you could expect to receive between 700 and 1000 photographs.

You’re really not alone in this! I work with many couples who are not keen on being photographed, and I take great care to get the best out of even the most reluctant subjects. I’ve been photographing weddings and engagements for over 15 years and have spent much time helping people relax and forget I’m even there.

I’ve been capturing weddings for so long that I’m confident I can anticipate where I need to be and when. However, I can’t be in two places at once. If your wedding has 100 guests, I highly recommend adding a second photographer to your packages. We work together to get the fullest coverage possible. My additional photographer may shoot details and candid shots while I’m taking formal group photos. They also help with holding props and lighting gear and helping make sure you get the best memories possible.

I know you’ll be desperate to see the photos, so I’ll send you a sneak peek within 7 days of your wedding or engagement photoshoot. Your full gallery of online photos will usually be delivered within 3-4 weeks. However, with wedding photography during peak wedding season, it may be up to 8-10 weeks. Don’t worry, I’ll keep you updated with how everything’s going. The digital photographs are professionally and expertly edited, which takes time.

To secure your engagement or wedding photography date, I’ll send an agreement. This covers what to expect and what services I provide so you have it all down in writing. 

You’ll book your date for weddings with a $1000 non-refundable deposit. The full balance is due two weeks before your wedding via bank transfer or credit card payment. We can discuss this at our initial call if you’d like to spread out payments with a payment plan. 

Yes, we can arrange a payment plan, or I have Genoapay. I have also had clients whose guests purchased vouchers from me to contribute to the cost of their albums.

When your full gallery is delivered I’ll send you a code so you can spend the print credit that came in your package. My print shop is inside your online gallery & very easy to use.
