Your Journey To Parenthood – A snapshot in time
Before your Newborn photoshoot
Before our photoshoot, I like to get to know you, your ideas and your expectations, so your Preshoot Consultation kicks off the process.
I want the scoop on you, your family and any other kids or pets who you might want in the photoshoot. Understanding your family dynamics allows me to capture your personalities and relationships as they really are.
Your every question will be answered, including:
- What types of clothing photograph best?
- How do we prep our home for the shoot?
- What would you like to do with the images?
- And other burning questions, such as whether or not to bring the family pet (the answer is “yes!”)
On the day
During the shoot, it’s my job to place you in natural and flattering poses and to document the real and authentic moments as they happen. This leaves you free to enjoy how things unfold and have trust in me to get the shot.
Newborn photoshoots are not timed but typically take 45 to 90 minutes and take place in your home, wherever you and the baby are most comfortable and there’s the best light.
Don’t worry about dated photographs that look on-trend this year but won’t last – with over 15 years of experience, I’ll make sure you’ve got timelessly stylish photographs that you’ll be proud to share with the grandkids in 40 years’ time!
After your photoshoot
After your session, I professionally and expertly curate and prepare your photos.
From this selection, you can purchase your favourite images from your session to be ordered as prints or digital files.
This session can be done in your home, over Zoom, or at my office. Your images are delivered via an online gallery—perfect for easy sharing with family and friends. Your images will be archived for two years.
If you’d like to print through me, I’ll guide you through selecting your favourites for an album or prints, ensuring your memories are preserved in the most beautiful way possible.

Sharing Your Memories
Once that’s done, you can relax. I’ll finalise the edits to your photos and send them to print production, and digital files that have been purchased will be delivered via the online gallery.
