Ashleigh and Jono | A Henley Hotel Wedding

Jono a  motor bike loving, self-confessed ex’bogan’ who works as an undertaker and  Ashleigh a dance teacher from the Shore may have been an unexpected match to their friends and family at first.  But as everybody agreed on the day, these two couldn’t be more perfect for each another.  The day started on a high when Ash surprised her bridesmaids and guests by arriving by helicopter to the ceremony, and you couldn’t have pictured a better response (think squeals, open mouths, and even the need for a little rescue remedy).  I loved how Ash and Jono made their wedding ‘theirs’. The details (flowers, invites, ceremony) were created by friends, and they rebelled against the norm, deciding against a cake and cake cutting (although the Mums did sneak their own cake cutting in at the end 😉 ) . These two have serious friend and family goals, with such a supportive community around them, and I walked away thinking when my daughter gets married I’d quite like her day to look just like this one!
