This list of FAQ’s touch on some of the most common inquiries I get about my approach to Weddings. I also understand that every Wedding is unique so i f you have any other questions, please contact me.

Can we meet before booking?

Yes! I’ve always found it much more helpful to meet in person or via Skype to tackle questions and answers. It’s also really important to me that our personalities connect and that I am a good fit for your day. Let’s try for coffee if you’re in the Waikato or Hamilton Area. If that isn’t possible we can touch base via Skype or phone.

What are your prices?

Contact me here or email directly to and I will send more information about my wedding collections. The more information you provide about your wedding location and any other info the better!

What sort of support can we expect from you as our Photographer?

I will keep in touch throughout your engagement period and support you with planning your wedding day in whatever way possible. Once you’ve booked I supply a wedding guide with detailed information on how to construct your timeline, family photo list, awesome vendors and a bunch of other useful information….. I am always just a phone call or email away if you would like to touch base or run something by me!

How do I book and what is the deposit?

To secure your date I require a $750 booking fee. In the case your date changes I am happy to carry over your deposit to the new date providing I’m free. If you cancel your plans I will endeavor to fill your spot so I can return your deposit.

Are you available for weddings outside of Hamilton or the Waikato? I sure am =) Enough said!

Why should we get a second photographer? I can’t be in two places at once so the second photographer and I work together to get the most full coverage of the day for you. For example the second may shoot details and candids while I am doing the formal group photos. They also help with gathering groups, holding lights and gear, and all sorts of other jobs that come up on the day!

What do you need from us?

I have several questionares I will send you so I know what your priorities and how to ensure your day and photographs are a success. You are most welcome to choose your photo shoot locations, or if you are stuck for location ideas I am happy to help!

How many photos will we get?

This really depends on the number of guests, activities throughout the day, and a variety of other factors! However, I will generally deliver 100 photographs per hour. So from 8 hours of photography coverage  you will receive between 700- 1000 photographs.

What if I hate having my photograph taken?

I work with plenty of people who are not keen on being photographed and I pride myself out of getting the best out of the most reluctant of subjects!!  I will also equip you with a number of tools and tricks to make sure you look and feel great in front of the camera. My goal is that you feel comfortable enough to forget I am there so that you fall into the presence of being together and bonding for a fun and memorable experience.

If you’d like practice behind the camera an engagement shoot is a great opportunity to become more confident behind the camera. Want to see what an engagement shoot looks like? Check out my engagement shoot gallery here or three reasons why you should do an engagement shoot here.

Do you blog or share images on social media?

I do! However, in the peak of Wedding Season I prioritise delivering full Wedding galleries as quickly as possible, so If I fall behind on blogging this is why. I also love to share a sneek peak on social media, but if this isn’t your cup of tea just let me know =)

Do you have any client reviews?

Definitely! Check out the reviews on my facebook page or some other kind words from my past clients. Tash from Black Robin Photography has also written some kind words about her experience being photographed by me here.

How are our photos delivered?

Your Wedding photos will be delivered via online gallery anytime between 2 and 8 weeks after your wedding day. This really depends on the date of your wedding, if your wedding is the end of peak season the turnaround time will be longer, but I try and get everything to you asap and if I’m really backed up then I’ll send a sneak peek. The images are fully processed, edited, and downloadable printable high resolution jpeg images. I will also deliver your images in a wooden USB gift package.

Is this your real job?

It sure is! I photographed my first wedding in 2005 and I’ve been hooked on photographing people ever since!
