Luke and Kays wedding

If you think planning a wedding is difficult, can you imagine doing it THREE TIMES?! To navigate a Wedding over Covid times is not an easy task. Kay and Luke had planned to Marry on the second of May in the Waikato. Midway through level four, the call was made to postpone. Again, plan B had to be shifted when level four was extended. Third time lucky this version three of Kay and Luke’s wedding day was such a beautiful reflection of their priorities and who they are as a couple. These two foodies do hospitality at it’s finest, so they bypassed tradition choosing to mix and mingle with their guests before the ceremony. Think mulled wine and a grazing table in a wintery wonderland under the Totaras, perfection. The pre-mingle didn’t detract one little bit from the walk-in moment, which included a nod to Kays sister who is no longer with us. It was one of the most powerful and deeply spiritual entrances I have ever seen, not a dry eye. There is no greater honour than being able to make photos for a friend and be a part of the rich experiences of a wedding day from beginning to end. We love you guys so much and couldn’t be more happy for you! x
