After shooting Astra and Adam’s first wedding in 2009, it was incredibly special to photograph their second ceremony exactly 10 years later to the day. Having been through a separation in between times, this beautiful couple’s renewal of vows on their 10th anniversary was about remarrying and recommitting to each other in front of their nearest and dearest, who have supported them through thick and thin. Celebrated with a picnic on the lawn of the home they built together, their super chilled day was all about authenticity, right down to Adam’s flannel checks and Chuck Taylors. As a special touch their daughter wore the flower girl dress from their first wedding day and Astra wore her original wedding shoes. It was a journey of faith that led Adam and Astra to this ceremony, and it was incredibly important to them that they made promises not only to each other but to their three children as well. Their day was all about family and being true to themselves and it was an honour to be part of it. Cheers to many more years of happiness guys!
